Cu Language Initial Design Document Released

The initial design document for the Cu language has been released. It summarizes the design philosophy (Accessibility / Performance / Control) and proposed syntax. It is not yet a formal language specification; further details will be finalized going forward.

Development Started

Development of the Cu language has begun. Named after the chemical symbol for copper, with file extension .cu29. The initial implementation will build a dedicated runtime in Python.
